Are you someone who doesn’t care for the “slippery” feel of soft water yet hates the effects of hard water on your appliances, plumbing and fixtures? Well, I just want to take a moment and put you on to a product that you might really like – it’s called a blending valve and it’s a 5 minute add-on to any softener sold by Royal Water Systems and any softener with a Clack control valve. Here’s how it works – Let’s say you have 15 grain hard water coming into your home. You water softener will remove all 15 grains giving you 0 grain soft water and the blending valve, with each click on the knob, will allow you to add 1 grain of hard water back into the soft water.
